2003 schedule announced for 27th season of Series

Dates for all races in the 2003 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge® have been announced, as the world's most popular corporate running series moves into its 27th year.

The 2003 Series officially began on November 13 in Sydney as a record crowd of 4,178 entrants from more than 200 companies gathered for what proved to be an extremely fast season-opening race (click for Sydney race details). Winning teams from Sydney are the first to qualify for the 2003 JPMorgan Chase Corporate® Championship, scheduled Saturday, October 4 on Park Avenue in New York.

The 2003 schedule features 16 races in 13 cities and four countries.

The next race scheduled in the 2003 Series is the first event in the United States, an April 8 stop in Dallas. That is followed by the first of three races in New York's Central Park on May 14.

The 2003 Series remains in the U.S. through June 12 with stops in Rochester, New York City, Boston and Buffalo. Then, it heads to Germany on June 18 for the largest race on the circuit, Frankfurt's 51,000-plus extravaganza. After a third race in New York City on June 25, the Series heads to London for two days of racing in Battersea Park on July 9 and 10.

One major change in this year's schedule is moving San Francisco's race date from the spring to September 17. Last year, San Francisco shifted to what may be the most scenic course on the circuit when it moved to a 3.5-mile route in bay-side Crissy Field. The new course, which features nearby backdrops of the Golden Gate Bridge and downtown San Francisco, proved very popular with participants.

The remainder of the schedule appears in the table immediately below. In addition to contact information, the table features links to the home pages for each race's section. Those links are the blue, underlined names of the cities. Once in a specific city's section, you will be able to access printable registration forms that will be added in the coming months, as well as reviews of past races, photos, and results for that city.

The top teams in men's, women's and mixed divisions will be vying for a spot in the October 4th JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge® Championship. Approximately 200,000 entrants from more than 6,500 companies participated in the 2002 Series.
