Championship qualifier in Syracuse
SYRACUSE, July 19, 2012 — The hot weather on June 19 forced an abbreviation of the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge, but there will be an opportunity for runners to compete.
The JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge will hold a special qualifying event for the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Championship on Sunday, August 5. This 3.5-mile race will begin at 8:30 a.m. on the same Onondaga Lake Park race course. The first-place men's, women's and mixed teams will earn an invitation to the next Championship, which will be held on a date and location to be determined in 2013.
As companies consider entering this qualifier, please note the following:
- The Parkway course is only available for a limited period of time, so all runners need to be able to complete the race in less than 30 minutes.
- Registration is free for all who had entered the June 19 race. All Corporate Challenge eligibility rules apply.
- The event will be chip-timed, and the mats will be picked up and the course closed at the 30-minute mark.
- The first-place men's and women's finishers and the top five teams in the three team categories will receive awards.
Registration will be available at www.jpmorganchasecc.com beginning Tuesday, July 24 and will close promptly at 5 p.m. on Friday, July 27.
Support is available by emailing Syracuse@jpmorganchasecc.com or calling (315) 446-6285. |
