Runners race to the finish at the 2010 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge in San Francisco. Registration has opened for this year's race, which is scheduled for September 21 and again will be held on the Embarcadero.

San Francisco Corporate Challenge

SAN FRANCISCO, June 21, 2011 -- Online registration for the 27th JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge® in San Francisco is now available.

There are two important changes to note for all participants:

• The race night is approximately seven weeks later than in 2010 — Wednesday, September 21, 2011 with a 6:45 p.m. race start.

• The 3.5-mile race course stays on The Embarcadero, but the primary staging area is now Lot A at McCovey Cove, just south of AT&T Park.

San Francisco enthusiastically embraced the Corporate Challenge's return to the Embarcadero last summer, with our crowd of 6,791 being the largest in 20 years. This year's race will keep all the positives from 2010, namely a picturesque, flat race course on The Embarcadero, access to public transportation, and a comfortable walk from many downtown businesses. It will now also provide an opportunity for expanded post-race hospitality for all companies. Information will be available on hospitality in the coming weeks on this site and all company captains will be emailed directly.

The entry fee for the 2011 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge in San Francisco is $32 per entrant and the JPMorgan Chase Foundation will make a donation on behalf of the Corporate Challenge to a worthy not-for-profit organization that will be announced in July.

Awards will be given to the five fastest men's, women's and mixed teams. The first place teams in those categories will also receive an invitation to the 2012 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge Championship, date and location to be determined.
