A capacity crowd of 12,839 entrants from 278 companies lined the leafy Venus Street starting area at the Wanderers Club for the 9th annual J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in Johannesburg on March 8. The teams came together in a celebration of fitness and camaraderie that was uniquely South African. Fitness was followed by parties into the night in hundreds of hospitality marquees throughout the two cricket ovals at the Wanderers Club. The always popular post-race concert featured Loyiso Bala.

The event benefitted the Make A Difference Foundation, whose focus is to identify academically talented youngsters from less fortunate circumstances and provide them with exceptional educational opportunities that will enable them to realize their full personal potential.
