Singapore J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge
Registration
SINGAPORE, January 27, 2009 — Since its Singapore debut in 2004, the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge® has created a special niche for itself as one of the corporate events to attend on an island nation that is equal parts beauty and commerce. The first step to being a part of the sixth annual corporate running event begins today, with the onset of online registration.
The 5.6-kilometre team road race will be held on Thursday 16 April 2009 with a 6:00pm race start at The Padang. Given the race's history of sold-out crowds, getting your team together now and registering early is sound advice.
The Corporate Challenge has earned its reputation as a must-attend sporting and social event for the Singapore business community. The 2008 race achieved a full capacity of 12,748 runners and walkers from 351 companies and this year's slots will also fill quickly. In fact, entries for the Singapore stop in the world's largest corporate running series have reached capacity for three straight years, and the race has doubled in size since 2004.
The entry fee for the 2009 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in Singapore is $50 per entrant. All entries must be part of a corporate team, with each team needing to register a minimum of four employees. There is no limit to the number of employees that can be on a company team but, due to capacity restrictions, large teams should complete their registration early. If you require assistance registering your teams or have any questions please email Singapore@jpmorganchase cc.com or call +65 6377 5360.
Part of the success story of the 2008 race was the embrace by entrants, businesses, and race organizers of the " Teaming Up For a Greener Tomorrow" campaign. Singapore helped get the year-long effort that uses best environmental practices, such as 100-percent online registration, to such a good start that the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge was recognized by Runner's World magazine as one of the world's top 10 green running events.
In addition to the continued focus on the environment, J.P. Morgan will also make a donation for each entry to a worthy not-for-profit organization. Please check back to this web site for details about the race beneficiary.
In the meantime, get your team together, keep training, and be sure to register early so you are a part of the sixth J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in Singapore on 16 April.
