28th Boston Corporate Challenge

BOSTON, April 4, 2011 — Having reached capacity for 16 consecutive years, the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge® in Boston has opened online registration for its 2011 race.

The 28th annual Corporate Challenge in Boston will be held Thursday, June 2, with a race start at 7:15 p.m. at historic Boston Common.

While the race is several months off, the time to gather your team and register is now. The 3.5-team road race, which fills to its 12,000-entrant capacity quickly each year, is a prime example of why Boston is considered the "hub" of American running and why registering early is critical.

The entry fee for the 2011 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in Boston is $42 per entrant and the JPMorgan Chase Foundation will make a donation on behalf of the Corporate Challenge to a worthy not-for-profit organization that will be announced on this website prior to event night.

The Boston Corporate Challenge also will once again be "Teaming Up For a Greener Tomorrow" by utilizing best environmental practices in conducting the race and urging participants to continue to make responsible choices such as registering online, taking alternative transportation to race site, and appropriately recycling on race night.

Awards will be given to the five fastest men's, women's and mixed teams. The first place teams in those categories will also receive an invitation to the 2012 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge Championship, date and location to be determined. Winning Boston teams from 2010 that will be on the starting line at our Championship event in Singapore later this month are Fidelity Investments (men's team), Puma North America (women), and Marathon Sports (mixed). The Fidelity Investments team is featured in a Road to the Championship story.
