NEW YORK, March 18, 2008 – A limited number of spots is available for the 32nd annual JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge® in New York, and interested companies will need to act immediately.
The Corporate Challenge, a 3.5-mile team event, will be held on Wednesday, June 18 and Thursday, June 19, with race starts both days at 7 p.m. in Central Park. The event has been a complete sell-out the past four years and is well on its way to being again this year.
Please note that the large majority of spots on both nights have already been secured by companies taking corporate hospitality. Hospitality reservations opened on February 20.
If the Corporate Challenge reaches capacity (15,000 participants each night) before you enter, you can request a spot on the waiting list. Please email email@example.com with your company name, captain's name, preferred race night and an accurate quantity of participants from your company. We will begin notifying companies of their wait list status the week of April 21, 2008.
All entrants this year will be teaming up with JPMorgan Chase & Co. for a greener tomorrow. The Corporate Challenge will introduce a variety of tactics designed to lessen the consumption of energy and paper resources. Our goal is to ultimately have the “greenest” road race in the world and in the coming weeks we'll provide you with understandable measurements of carbon emissions saved by our combined efforts. You will be surprised how the smallest action – such as registering for this event online rather than with paper forms – makes such a big difference.
Entry fee for the 2008 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge in New York is $35 per person and JPMorgan Chase will make a donation for each participant to the Central Park Conservancy. All entries must be part of a corporate team, with a minimum of four. A total of 15 companies (five each in the men's, women's and mixed divisions) will earn an invitation to the JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge Championship, to be held Saturday, October 4, in New York City.
