T-Shirt contest winners design a way
to help non-profits in their communities
NEW YORK, November 18, 2011 — T-Shirt contest winners in the 2011 JPMorgan Chase Corporate Challenge® Series looked good on the race course, but more importantly helped dozens of not-for-profit organizations do great work.
The T-Shirt competition was contested in all 13 Series cities this year, with each winning company having the opportunity to receive a $1,000USD donation to present to the charity of their choice. Their choices were as diverse as the countries that comprise the Series.
Each of the companies listed in the chart below was a winner in the Corporate Challenge T-Shirt competition. For their award-winning designs, each was able to identify a not-for-profit organization to receive a donation in their company name from the JPMorgan Chase Foundation.
The contributions of the T-shirt design winners were in addition to the JPMorgan Chase Foundation making locally-designated donations at each of the 13 Series events in host cities in seven countries on five continents. Approximately $2M total has been provided to not-for-profit organizations in Corporate Challenge markets the past three Series years through the primary contributions. In 2011, the Series donated more than $600,000 to charities and organizations in host cities around the world (see details on Beneficiary Page).
