The 2012 London J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge will use a pulsed start system based on estimated finish times.  Your start wave will be denoted by the colour of your runner number. Follow the directional signage to your specific coloured start area on the day of the event. Click here for the start map.

Every participant will be provided with a timing chip to attach to the laces of their running shoes in order to record an official race time. Each runner’s time will be recorded from when they cross the start mat and end when they cross the finish line. Once you cross the finish line you are required to hand in your chip at the chip collection points, which will be at prominent locations in the hospitality villages.

With the temporary addition of the Battersea Evolution in Hospitality Village One (British Genius Site), it will no longer be possible for runners to pass through Hospitality Village One to reach Hospitality Village Two on the grass area. Therefore, please pay particular attention to the below information in order to reach your Hospitality Village and the Start Funnels.

Directions to Hospitality Village One (Battersea Evolution)
Enter the park via Chelsea Gate if you have an indoor hospitality unit in Hospitality Village One, Battersea Evolution on the British Genius Site. If you are arriving from the overland train stations you will be directed along Queenstown Road via the outside of the park to reach Chelsea Gate. Access will only be permitted to the indoor hospitality area within Battersea Evolution to those runners who show the appropriate accreditation. 

Directions to Hospitality Village Two (Athlete Village), Public & voucher catering Facilities, and General Meeting Points Enter the park via Rosary Gate if you have a marquee unit on the grass area in Hospitality Village Two (Athlete Village), wish to access the voucher and public catering facilities, or want to use the designated meeting points for your team (A-Z), and you will be directed towards central Avenue. If you are arriving at Chelsea Gate, you will be directed through the Park past the Pagoda and Bandstand.

Company Captains: All race packs will be sent to the Company Captains; however, race packs will not be released unless all entry fees have been paid in full. Race packs will only contain labeled race numbers for your participants and safety pins. All packs will be mailed by Friday, 6 July 2012. Links to all memos, maps, rules and the safety bulletin will be emailed to all runners so they can view this information online. Please read and follow all instructions. Make sure that all participants read the Runner Information memo, the Safety Bulletin, the Series Rules, and maps. Distribute assigned race numbers and timing chips and remind participants to fill out the medical emergency information on the back of the race number.

RACE DAY NOTES

• Participants must fill out the medical emergency information on the back of their race number.
• Updated race day information will be posted on this website. Be sure to listen to the race night announcements for any last-minute changes.
• Drink plenty of water before the race. Water will be available at the start, along the course, and at the finish.
• Refreshments and t-shirts will be available on the race evening.
• Be sure you know the location of your company meeting place.
• The race route is a certified 5.6km course.
