Welcome to the 41st Year of the
J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge
Dear Company Captains and Participants,
Welcome to the 2017 J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge® Series, J.P. Morgan's 41st consecutive year of owning and operating this global celebration of corporate teamwork, camaraderie and community.
The very first Corporate Challenge was conducted on July 13, 1977 in New York's Central Park, and J.P. Morgan's mission with the event to present has remained the same. The firm looks to present you with a world-class road race as a backdrop for your most creative company outing of the year.
J.P. Morgan extends a heartfelt thank you to you and all your colleagues for making the time and commitment to run or walk in our 3.5-mile races. Racers, joggers and walkers are all welcome, with entrants in 2016 ranging from age 18 to 70+. CEOs run side-by-side with entry-level employees, most everyone wearing their company t-shirt with pride.
Total registration at 2016 Corporate Challenge events was 254,501 entrants from 6,929 companies. Events are conducted in seven countries on five continents and almost all are coveted events that reach capacity soon after the opening of registration. The popularity of the event could not have been forecast when just 200 entrants turned up at that first Corporate Challenge in 1977.
We look forward to hosting your company in 2017 and strive to provide you with the best possible support in planning your participation.
With kind regards,
J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge Series
