After the anniversary run comes the next party
The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge returns to Frankfurt on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. For the Main metropolis, it will be the 31st edition of Germany's largest corporate run. The milestone 30th anniversary was celebrated last June by more than 63,000 people from over 2,100 companies, businesses, authorities, and institutions on the 5.6-kilometer course and at numerous corporate parties after the race. This tradition is set to continue in 2025.
The long history of the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge in Frankfurt dates back to 1993. Just 527 runners laid the foundation for this corporate running icon back then. Within a few years, the number grew from a few hundred to tens of thousands of enthusiastic participants. Alongside the sporting aspect, the focus has always been on having a good time together with the team, colleagues, and the many participants.
“Many companies see the Corporate Challenge as a welcome opportunity to bring their teams together in times of remote work and create shared moments,” says Stefan Behr, CEO of J.P. Morgan SE. “The run is not only a fixed date in the city's events calendar, but we also create the glue for team cohesion anew every year.”
The J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge has its roots in New York's Central Park, where the first run took place in 1977. Today, the global running series takes place in 16 locations, across eight countries, and on six continents.
