Getting to the Event

For Participants Coming Outside of Philadelphia:

SEPTA

We have a complimentary SEPTA train reserved to host our clients and external partners on their round-trip ride between Churchman's Crossing Station and Philadelphia's Suburban Station for the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge on Thursday, October 10.

Please board our dedicated train #1296 departing at 4:35 p.m. from Churchman’s Crossing Station to Surburban Station.

Train #1297 will depart from the 0 track at Surburban Station at 9:50 p.m., returning to Churchman’s Crossing Station at the end of the evening.

Schedule: Train stops include Churchman’s Crossing Station, Wilmington Station, Claymont Station, and Suburban Station. A full train schedule can be found here.

Parking: There is ample parking at the Churchman’s Crossing Station. In addition, you may park in the Chase parking garage in downtown Wilmington located at 301 N. Walnut Street (the entrance is on Walnut Street between 2nd and 4th streets). This garage is one block from the Wilmington Train Station.

For Philadelphia Based Participants:

Parking: We recommend booking convenient and affordable parking in advance through SpotHero, the nation's leading parking reservations app. To reserve your parking spot for the J.P. Morgan Corporate Challenge, visit the Philadelphia Museum of Art SpotHero Parking Page and book a spot with rates up to 50% off drive-up.

There are limited spots in both of these lots (which are also open to the public) so we recommend carpooling if possible.  Please be sure to read all posted signs before leaving your vehicle, especially if you utilize off-street parking.

Public Transportation and Ridesharing

Participants are encouraged to arrive to Eakins Oval using public transportation (SEPTA).

Rail: If traveling by subway or regional rail, the closest station stops are 30th Street Station (1.0 mile) and Suburban Station (0.8 miles).

Bus: routes 7, 32, 38, 43, 48 & 49 all serve the area as well. Check out SEPTA’s website for more information.

Rideshare: If you are using a rideshare service, please use the drop-off location of Benjamin Franklin Pkwy and N. 22nd St.  This intersection is a one-block walk from the race venue and will remain open to vehicles.   Vehicles are only permitted on Kelly Drive and around Eakins Oval before 4:00pm.  After that, the roads will be closed for the race.

Bike: If you're riding a personal bike, there is a parking dock on the north side of Eakins Oval, across the street from the Challenge Bar Presented by Surfside between Eakins Oval and Spring Garden Street. Don't forget your lock!

There are also Indego bike-sharing docks surrounding Eakins Oval.  Make a reservation at www.rideindego.com.

Event Reminders

Race Packets

All participant race packets will be picked up by your Team Captain prior to the event, and it is the responsibility of the Team Captain to distribute the race items to the team members.

Some companies decide to create their own team shirts. If your company has organized a team shirt, you must liaise with your Team Captain about where and when you can collect this. A reminder that runners can either wear their company team shirt or their own running shirt on race day.

There will be an information desk available in the event footprint with a limited number of replacement bibs available if required.

Race Bibs

Your race bib is the only way we can ensure you are allocated to the correct start wave and also properly identify you on the course. Your race bib also contains your timing chip and because of this, race numbers are non-transferrable and should be pinned on the front of your race shirt.

Finisher Shirts

Finisher shirts will be distributed just beyond the finish line on event day. Please keep in mind that size quantities are limited.

Gear Check

Gear Check will be available for participants to check items during the race from 5:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. DO NOT leave valuables, cash or jewelry. The event staff and Gear Check volunteers are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Hospitality

The Challenge Bar Presented by Surfside is located within the event footprint and close to the start/finish areas. On-demand options for food and drinks will be served starting at 6:45pm with limited availability. The point-of-sale systems will process both cash and card transactions. The Challenge Bar Presented by Surfside will close at 9:30 p.m.

Start / Finish Area

The Start and Finish areas are located directly in front of the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
